Everything was incredibly smooth - it was a really well organised trip that made us feel so at ease. We really got to enjoy our holiday without having to think much! Malcolm built the perfect itinerary (and definitely the right way around from Vic Falls-Shinde) and was brilliantly attentive in the lead up when we had any questions.
A lot of special people in special places; huge shout out to Botto & Bee at Shinde, that place was out of this world.

6 of 5 Stars! We booked our first safari more than 2 years in advance to span 4 countries in Southern Africa, a real ‘big adventure’. We worked with Malcolm for our planning who spent time explaining everything and answering all of our first timer questions. 

During our actual trip, everything was perfect. Down to the smallest detail, our every move was preplanned and we were so well taken care of. Every tour was planned with care and all of our guides were phenomenal. Hotels and lodges, totally as good as we hoped and expected and we just do not think it was possible to have had a better experience. 

We absolutely are already talking about when we can get back to safari Africa and where our next adventure will be.

Just returned from our fourth safari overall. This time we wanted to experience Botswana and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Malcolm advised us on possible camps and also hotels in Vic Falls after listening to our ideas and wishes and then put together the most wonderful trip. All transfers both by air and road worked seamlessly and the camp and hotel were first class. And we saw the elusive leopard at all three camps too, icing on the cake for us. Thanks Malcolm

All the plans went like clockwork. We were once delayed on a flight between camps (not anyone’s fault-just one of those things) and even then our guide took us to a nearby camp for a cold drink and a freshen up while we waited. We went to Botswana stopping off at Victoria Fall first. 

The whole trip was fantastic including each of the 3 camps we stayed in in Botswana which were Xakanaka, Shinde Footsteps and Savute Safari Lodge. A special mention for Shinde Footsteps. They do walking safaris and the camp is very small and remote (only 3 tents). It is truly off grid and like one big happy family. Walking in the bush and seeing zebras, elephants and more while walking was a fabulous experience. We highly recommend that experience in conjunction with more conventional lodges and game drives in jeeps. 

The food was great throughout the trip including for my husband who is vegan. The guides in every camp were very professional and really wanted all their guests to have the best experience and see lots of animals (which we did). The people of Botswana are so friendly and kind. We also loved the experience of seeing Victoria Falls first. It was really was the holiday of a lifetime.

And when our plans changed and my sister in law decided to join us after the fact he did a wonderful job of getting her itinerary to match ours. We had a difficulty purchasing our airfare from Johannesburg and he went out of his way to help.
